CollectionStill Lifes

Still life, as its name so aptly suggests, inspires a feeling of calm, tranquility, stillness, permanence and peace that encourages concentration and observation of the single object, magnified by its isolation, its uniqueness, its beauty against a background of unified color. The point of reference is the object represented in the middle of the canvas, whose colors, shadows and shapes shine and are subject to variations and gradations in the intensity of the tones and the luminosity.
This section also contains a few paintings of bouquets of flowers. The reflections and tones are not the same as in a still life, but the colors and the emphasis on the plants against a dark background are reminiscent of the still life style, which plays with shadows to a greater extent. However, the colors and floral forms stand out with even more life and energy.
